As the Bubble Music Man, it has been a crazy couple of days!
Last Friday, I was indoors again...this time for my first (and only) visit to the Holy Nativity Pre-School in Weymouth with Miss Kerri and Miss Karen and friends for some indoor fun. Even some of the children's parents came to our party, and everyone had a great time with the music and bubbles.
I was sad to learn that Holy Nativity is closing its doors this week. However, I have heard from some parents already and have heard that the kids will not see the last of the Bubble Music Man!
As you know, these past few days have been HOT and sticky. I love the sun, I even like the warm temperatures, but the humidity can sometimes be a little much. Thank goodness the forecast is calling for cooler temperatures for later in the week!
Yesterday morning(Monday 6/9), I was back at Wilder Nursery School in Hingham for another 2 shows with the kids at Club Wilder. It was VERY hot yesterday, and even though we set up in the shade, keeping cool was very hard. I brought along some squirt guns for the staff to "mist" the kids during the show. My friends Shane and Mya did a great job with the limbo.
Yesterday afternoon was a show with a different twist as I performed for Girl Scout Troop 40 in Marshfield. Joanne, the troop leader, had this deck that also served as a carport, which kept us out of the hot temperatures and direct sunlight. Ava, Mariah, Victoria, and the other girls from the troop, including the two "Lilys", had a great time with the bubbles, hula hoops, and even some extra BIG bubbles!
Today I was lucky to go and visit Miss Carol and my friends at the Congregational Pre School in Mansfield! Today was my third year visiting this school...it's nice to visit places I have been to before, even if I get a little lost (Every year, I seem to miss one turn and end up lost in the middle of Mansfield.) Still, I arrived with plenty of time to set up in the back playground and had a ball with the kids and parents who came. Even in the hot heat, we still danced and fun! I would also like to say "Good Luck" to the kids who are graduating from Congregational Pre School tomorrow!
Stay cool in this heat! I think I am going to go for a swim!
